Every week when I go to my local farmers markets, I search for what fruits look most inviting!. This week the papayas jumped out at me. After three days sitting on my kitchen counter, this papaya looked just right to eat!
There seems to be a massive movement against eating fruit because of its sugar content.
Fresh fruits seem to be one of Nature’s most beautiful, diverse, nutritious, hydrating and delicious gifts. They not only taste scrumptious, I feel good when I eat fruit. Fruits, organic or chemical free, are a big part of my diet. Unapologetically.
I usually eat fruit in the morning or throughout the day for a snack but today, I ate a big bowl of pho in the late afternoon. I didn’t feel like much dinner. When I remembered the ripe papaya and nectarines I had, I decided to combine them for a light but satisfying dinner. Passionfruit added the occasional burst of tart, sweet juiciness.
